Wellness Care

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible, and annual exams are the key to maintaining your pet's physical health throughout their lives. Routine checkups can help prevent them from developing health issues or help us catch problems in the early stages, which gives us the best chance at treating them. Annual exams are combined with routine vaccinations, parasite prevention, and proper nutrition which will help give your pet the best chance at a long and healthy life!

Nutritional Counseling

All pets thrive on a balanced diet, but some may need prescription food for health issues. Pets that can't self-regulate their intake may become overweight or underweight, but discussing portions with your vet and monitoring their weight can help maintain a healthy body condition. For tips, check out our nutrition page!

Parasite Testing

Fecal tests are a quick and easy way to help veterinarians identify and treat a range of internal parasites that be difficult to detect without it. It can be especially important for outdoor pets that spend most of their time outside where they can pick up bacteria and parasites from the environment or pets that eat wild prey and can ingest parasites.

Microchipping

We use DATAMARS microchips to give your pets their own permanent form of identification where you can add your contact information, address, and any helpful information about them. All of these will increase the chances of them being safely returned to you if they sneak out while you aren't looking or run off when they find a chance.

Online Pharmacy

We stock a wide range of the best and most commonly prescribed medication on-site for your convivence. However if we are too far out your way (especially for our long distance clients who we adore) or you don't have the time to visit our office you can check out our online pharmacy and get it delivered to your home! Most of these can be extremely painful which if untreated can lead to changes in your pet's behavior as they become irritable. Learn more about our dental procedures here!

Radiology

We offer radiology (X-rays) services that help our vets evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, reproductive, and urinary systems. The information that is provided by these radiographs can help us decide on a treatment plan for your pet moving forwards as well as how to make them the most comfortable. We keep our radiograph rooms dark and quiet to help minimize anxiety they may have during the experience.

Surgery

We schedule a limited number of surgeries, during chosen days of the week, so that we are able to provide each pet with personalized medical attention throughout the process. Our facilities feature a surgeon for consultation, trained staff for efficient procedures, heated surgery tables for comfort, advanced sterilization techniques, oxygen saturation monitors, and comprehensive after-surgery care. Our surgery services!

Internal Medicine

While our veterinarians can diagnose and treat various health problems, there certain diseases and conditions require the attention of a specialist who has had intensive training in internal medicine. This is to help provide the very best outcome for your pet. For your convenience we have a group of traveling specialists who can come to our hospital and perform endoscopy, bronchoscopy, ultrasound and specialized surgery.

In-House Labs

Because of our in-house laboratory, we can preform various on-site tests including pre-anesthetic bloodwork, instead of sending it to a laboratory.
