Medical Baths

Medical baths use specially formulated shampoos prescribed by our veterinarians to address issues like infections, parasites, allergies, and dry skin. Depending on the severity, these baths may need to be given up to twice weekly. Since not all pet owners can manage this at home, and some conditions are better treated in a clinical setting, we offer this service at our clinic. Our trained staff ensures your pet gets the proper treatment while keeping them comfortable throughout the process.

Sanitary Shave

Sanitary shaves, or hygiene trims, are helpful for your pet’s cleanliness, especially in areas prone to moisture and matting, such as around the genitals and under the belly. This grooming service prevents buildup of fecal matter, urine, and debris, reducing the risk of skin infections and parasites. It also helps spot potential health issues more easily. Our staff uses a 10 blade for a gentle, safe shave but can provide a tighter shave upon request. This service is available for both dogs and cats.

Mat Removal

Matted fur, often frustrating and unappealing, usually results from a lack of grooming. Pets with longer coats or those not regularly brushed are especially prone to mats, which can cause discomfort, hide health issues, and increase the risk of flea infestations. They can also trap dirt, moisture, and debris, leading to skin irritation and potential infections. We are not a grooming facility so we can’t guarantee a polished look, but when it comes to the medical need to remove matting, we are happy to help!

Ear Cleaning

You can request this service, but it will only be performed as a technician appointment with doctor approval. This ensures we avoid over-cleaning, which could cause further issues.

Ear cleaning, especially for dogs that are more prone to ear infections, can quickly become a necessity depending on lifestyle. Due to the unique structure of a dog’s ear canal, trapped debris and wax can quickly lead to irritation and infections if not addressed. It can be hard for many pet owners to know how often and what techniques they should use to clean their dog's ears. While keeping your dog’s ears clean is crucial, over-cleaning or using the wrong products can do more harm than good.

Anal Glands

You can request this service, but it will only be performed as a technician appointment with doctor approval. This ensures we avoid over-cleaning, which could cause further issues.

Anal glands, which dogs use to mark their territory and warn predators, can sometimes become problematic for domesticated dogs. Normally, these glands release when a dog defecates, but issues can arise when they don’t empty properly. Factors such as domestication, medical conditions, or infections may prevent dogs from releasing their anal glands naturally.  While some pets manage this through licking or scooting, others may require assistance through an anal gland expression.

Anal Gland Expression = $30

Nail Trimming

Long and overgrown nails are more than just a cosmetic concern—they can affect your pet’s comfort and mobility. Overgrown nails can lead to pain, difficulty walking, and even grow into the paw pad, causing serious discomfort and infection. We understand that trimming your pet’s nails can be challenging, so we offer a range of services tailored to your needs. Whether you prefer regular trimming, dremeling for a smoother finish, or a sedated option for pets that need extra help, our team is here to ensure the process is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.  Let us handle the hassle so your pet’s feet stay healthy!
