GENERAL WELLNESS SERVICES
Invest in your pet’s well-being today for a happier, healthier tomorrow.
During your pet’s annual visit, our veterinarians will conduct a thorough check-up, including monitoring their weight, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate. We'll also examine your pet for any visible signs of illness and discuss their usual behavior with you to catch any early indicators of health issues. Then any necessary booster shots will be administered and the doctor may perform additional tests, such as fecal testing, to check for common intestinal parasites; these proactive measures help us catch potential health issues early. Paired with routine vaccinations, parasite prevention, and a balanced diet, these annual exams are a corner stone in your pet's health.

We offer microchipping services to significantly increase the chances of a safe recovery if your pet ever gets lost. We use DATAMARS microchips that provide your pet with permanent identification in the form of a unique 15-digit identification number. This tiny chip, about the size of a grain of rice, is quickly and painlessly implanted just beneath your pet’s skins. Once implanted, the microchip itself is inactive and doesn't transmit any signal until it is scanned by a microchip reader. It is essential to register the chip in a national pet database and include your contact information and a detailed description of your pet. Microchipping is a one-time procedure that offers a lifetime of security.

Pets experience pain much like humans do, but since they can't communicate their discomfort directly, they often try to hide it. Understanding and recognizing their body language is essential for identifying pain and ensuring they receive the relief they need. Whether your pet is recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or experiencing pain due to an injury, our comprehensive pain management services are designed to provide relief and improve their day-to-day life. Pain management is not just about treating symptoms; it’s about addressing the underlying cause and helping your pet heal. If you suspect your pet might be in pain, it's important to let your veterinarian know.
Proper nutrition is crucial for managing many common diseases and improving your pet’s overall health. Sometimes, a change in diet is an essential part of medical management. Our doctors will discuss your pet's specific nutritional requirements and provide personalized recommendations for high-quality, nutritionally balanced foods. This may include advice on portion sizes, feeding schedules, and suitable dietary supplements to address any specific health concerns. Our goal is to help you make informed decisions about your pet’s diet to support their well-being, prevent obesity, and manage any health conditions effectively. With the right nutrition, your pet can enjoy a healthier, happier life.
Effective prevention is key to protecting your pet from the discomfort and health risks associated with fleas, ticks, and heartworms. These parasites can cause a range of issues, from skin irritations to serious diseases, and prevention is much easier and more cost-effective than treatment. We offer a variety of preventive treatments tailored to your pet’s specific needs, lifestyles, existing health conditions, and environment. If a particular preventive product is not available in our clinic, our online pharmacy carries a wide range of options to ensure you can find exactly what you need. Regular use of these preventative measures helps keep pests at bay and ensures your pet stays healthy.
We offer the convenience of both onsite and online pharmacy services to meet all your pet's medical needs. Our onsite pharmacy stocks a range of commonly prescribed and high-quality medications, preventives, and specialized diets, ensuring that you can get the necessary care and supplies for your pet during your visit. If you need medication that isn’t available at our clinic or prefer not to make an extra trip, our online pharmacy is a great alternative where you can easily browse and order products to your door! If you prefer not to use the online pharmacy, just give us a call. Our veterinarians are happy to provide you with a written prescription to take to a local pharmacy of your choice!
